Principal Duties Ensure proper and complete sales & tendering efforts, from initial inquiry to order receipt, and continuing into completion of equipment supply and beyond, for sales of specialty high temperature heat recovery equipment in industrial processes.

? Commercial & technical review of the customer’s request for quote.
? Develop solutions for customer, supplier or internal problems that may affect schedule and budget.
? Select appropriate proprietary product and perform custom design to meet customer specification (including equipment sizing, thermal design, material selection, etc.)
? Develop proposal to customer, including:
? Bid / no-bid decision,
? Estimate project costs for internal hours and procurement (material, fabrication, etc.)
? Commercial terms and conditions,
? Risk review & assessment,
? Development of preliminary project schedules, and
? Obtaining management review for proposal.
? Develop and maintain a network of contacts, an assigned customer base, and a full pipeline of opportunities
? Commercial & technical review / acceptance of customer purchase order including customer terms and conditions.

Support Project Execution activities, including:
? Conducting contract kick-off (turnover) meeting,
? Acting as part of the 4-5 person contract-specific project team, providing thermal / process / sales background support to the project manager,
? Attending Design / project review meetings, and
? Continue to be customer’s contact throughout equipment contract warranty period.
? Participate in policy / procedure decisions.
? Participate in business development efforts.

Complexity Of Tasks
? Interfacing with domestic and foreign customers requires good communication skills and quick analysis and decision making capability. ? Application and selection process requires strong technical background.
? Ability to explain technical aspects of equipment, as well as to relate company experience relative to new applications, requires extensive product / process knowledge and experience, with the support of senior proposal staff.
? Proposal generation process requires commercial and contractual knowledge and understanding, with the support of senior proposal staff.

Education, Experience, and Competencies Required
? Minimum higher education is a four year engineering degree, preferably Mechanical or Chemical.
? Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical sales or engineering capacity.
? Willingness and ability to travel periodically, both domestic and international, a must. Approximately 25% during non-Pandemic operations.
? Must possess the ability to deal with customers in technical and business decision making processes.
? Ability to coordinate effectively with customers and the project team. ? Critical thinking and problem solving.
? Adaptability & self-motivated.
? Detail-oriented.
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint; Competency in Microsoft Access.
