Construction Foreman

We have immediate openings for a full time Construction Foreman. We’re looking for the right individual to become part of our growing team. Our ideal Construction Foreman candidate will be someone who is looking for a long-term opportunity and the chance to grow with in the organization.
 
Job Description

• Able read/understand blueprints and build to spec with precision and quality
• Perform general construction tasks with a focus on concrete and electrical work
• Oversee three to four man crew
• Make sure job is coordinated from start to finish to maximize efficiency and safety
• Must have the ability to safely maneuver equipment trailers  
• Provide detailed and accurate reporting of daily duties performed
• Restoration of areas where work has been performed (leveling, seed and straw)
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• Responsible for work outcomes that are assigned
• Possess basic computer skills including word, excel & email
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be willing to travel majority of the time
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record 
• 3 years’ experience as a construction foreman
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional critical thinking skills 
• Strong team player with the ability to adapt to diverse team members
• Exceptional time management, accountability, and prioritization skills
• Self-motivated, goal- oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals
• Ability to be organized, problem solve, and be solution oriented
• Ability to support a fast paced, demanding work schedule; could include late evenings and/or weekends when requested 

Work Environment

• Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, like sitting, squatting, standing, walking, and driving
• Must endure regular exposure to all weather conditions, including hot, cold, humid and rainy during all seasons throughout the year
• May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects being managed or coordinated
• Must wear common protective safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats and high visible vest when working on-site
