Summary:
Successful candidate will help develop machine tool controls. This will include design, programming, and analysis activities for machine control systems from its concept through production.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design of machine controls to meet customer design specifications with minimum engineering time and maximizing cost effectiveness.
- Design component layouts to meet all applicable specifications.
- Program machine controllers to meet specifications to operate at optimal efficiency while incorporating all safety features.
Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. in Controls Engineering or similar field
- 10+ years' experience in machine tools or related industry
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC's and HMI software. EPlan design software preferred.
- Experience with engines or powertrains is a plus.
