Blackrock Resources is looking for a couple of Drafters with AutoCad for an opportunity in Pittsburgh. This will go hybrid after initial time at office.
Required Skills
- Associate Degree in Drafting, GIS, Construction, Engineering or related field. Related military experience, technical training in drafting is accepted in lieu of degree
- Minimum one year of related experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
Essential Duties:
- Draft construction projects, read and interpret construction employee’s sketch of pipeline installation and or retirement
- Gather, prepare, process, and produce capital construction project as-built drawings
- Revise drawing from markups and/or instructions
Preferred Skills/Knowledge
- Basic drafting skills in AutoCAD LT and advance software
- Utilize standard engineering practices and techniques to adjust and correlate data; recognize and resolve discrepancies
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation including civil and pipeline design drawings, construction specifications and other items.
- Knowledge and understanding of gas utility construction logic and sequencing
- Experience and understanding in GIS mapping concepts
