BlackRock Resources, LLC (“BlackRock Resources,” “BlackRock,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of job candidates, applicants, website visitors, and others who interact with us.
BlackRock Resources is a staffing and recruiting company that connects qualified candidates with employment and contract opportunities throughout the United States. As part of our recruiting activities, we collect and maintain information about candidates so that our recruiters can communicate with them, evaluate their qualifications for employment opportunities, submit qualified candidates to prospective employers with their knowledge, and consider them for future opportunities.
This Privacy Policy explains the types of personal information we collect, how we collect and use that information, when we disclose it, how long we retain it, and the choices individuals may have regarding their information.

If additional information becomes necessary for employment, payroll, benefits, background screening, tax, legal, or other purposes after a candidate progresses through the hiring or placement process, that information may be collected through separate processes and may be subject to additional notices or policies.

- Maintain records necessary for our legitimate business operations; and
- Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
4 Candidate Submissions to Prospective Employers
An important part of BlackRock Resources’ business is introducing candidates to companies seeking employees or contractors.
Our recruiters communicate with candidates before submitting them for a particular employment opportunity and identify the prospective employer to whom the candidate would be submitted.
A candidate may decline to be submitted to a particular employer.
When a candidate proceeds with a submission, we may provide the prospective employer with information reasonably relevant to evaluating that candidate for the position. This may include the candidate’s resume, employment history, qualifications, skills, experience, location, compensation expectations, availability, and other information relevant to the employment opportunity.
Information provided to a prospective employer may subsequently be handled according to that organization’s own privacy and information-management practices.
5 We Do Not Sell or Rent Candidate Information
BlackRock Resources does not sell or rent its candidate database, mailing lists, or candidate personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
Candidate information is maintained for BlackRock Resources’ staffing and recruiting activities and related legitimate business purposes.
We provide candidate information to prospective employers in connection with specific employment opportunities as described in Section 4.
6 Service Providers
BlackRock Resources uses third-party service providers and technology platforms to operate our business and provide recruiting services.
These may include providers of:
- Applicant tracking and recruiting systems;
- Email and communications services;
- Cloud computing and data storage;
- Website hosting and maintenance;
- Job boards and recruiting platforms;
- Information technology and security services;
- Business productivity services;
- Analytics services; and
- Other services necessary to operate our business.
These providers may process personal information on our behalf when necessary to provide their services.
We do not authorize our service providers to use candidate information for unrelated purposes except as permitted or required by law or under their own relationship with an individual.
7 Email and Text Communications
BlackRock Resources recruiters communicate with candidates by telephone, email, and text message as part of normal recruiting activities.
Text messages are generally individual communications between a recruiter and a candidate regarding recruiting, applications, interviews, employment opportunities, or related matters. BlackRock Resources does not currently conduct mass text-message marketing campaigns to candidates.
Candidates may ask a recruiter to stop communicating with them by text or may contact us using the information provided in the Contact Us section below.
A request to stop receiving text messages does not necessarily require removal of the candidate’s information from our recruiting records. A candidate who wishes to request removal or deletion of personal information should make a separate privacy request as described in Section 12.
8 Automated Decision Making and Artificial Intelligence
In some recruiting searches, we use third-party AI-enabled tools to analyze candidate information against role-related criteria and help our recruiters identify, assess, summarize, or rank potential matches. Recruiters review the results and decide whom to contact or submit for an opportunity; these tools do not make employment decisions on BlackRock Resources’ behalf.
Candidates who work with BlackRock Resources interact with human recruiters as part of our recruiting and candidate-submission process.
If our practices materially change in the future, we may update this Privacy Policy and provide other notices as required by applicable law.
9 Website Information Cookies Analytics and Embedded Content
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies necessary for the operation and security of the website. It may also use optional technologies associated with services such as Google Analytics and embedded YouTube content.
BlackRock Resources does not accept third-party advertising for display on our website and does not sell advertising space to third parties.
Some third-party services incorporated into the website, including YouTube, may use cookies or similar technologies for their own purposes.
Website visitors are provided the opportunity to decline optional cookies.
Additional information about the cookies and similar technologies used on our website, including information concerning Google Analytics, YouTube, cookie categories, and available choices, is provided in our Cookie Policy.
10 Data Retention
BlackRock Resources operates an ongoing recruiting business. A candidate who is not selected for one position may be qualified for another opportunity months or years later.
For this reason, BlackRock Resources generally maintains candidate records in its recruiting database on an ongoing basis so that candidates may be considered for current and future employment opportunities. Candidate records may be retained indefinitely unless the candidate requests removal, subject to applicable law.
Candidates may request removal of their information from our active candidate database. Our standard removal process in JobDiva, our applicant tracking system, deletes copies of the candidate’s resume and removes contact information and other personal information from the candidate’s profile fields, except for the candidate’s first and last name.
This process does not erase the entire candidate record. The candidate’s first and last name, recruiter notes, records of submissions, and email correspondence are retained. Those retained records may themselves contain personal information; they are not represented as anonymous or fully de-identified.
Historical recruiting and business records may be retained to document recruiting and placement activities, meet applicable recordkeeping or contractual obligations, establish or defend legal claims, or for other purposes permitted by applicable law.
Where applicable law requires deletion of additional personal information, we will assess the request and any applicable retention exceptions. Our standard JobDiva removal process does not limit rights provided by applicable law.
Individuals who wish to request removal or deletion of their personal information may contact us as described in Section 12.
11 Information Security
BlackRock Resources uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.
Access to candidate information is limited to personnel and service providers who require access for legitimate business purposes.
No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, while we take reasonable measures to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12 Your Privacy Choices and Requests
Individuals may contact BlackRock Resources regarding personal information we maintain about them.
Depending upon the circumstances and applicable law, individuals may request that we:
- Confirm whether we maintain personal information about them;
- Provide access to certain personal information;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Remove information from our active candidate database using the process described in Section 10;
- Delete personal information where required by applicable law; or
- Provide information about how their personal information has been collected, used, or disclosed.
Candidates may also ask us not to contact them regarding future employment opportunities.
Our standard candidate removal process deletes copies of the candidate’s resume and removes contact information and other personal information from the candidate’s profile fields, except for first and last name. The candidate’s name, recruiter notes, submission records, and email correspondence are retained, and these historical records may still contain personal information. Removal through this process is not deletion of all information about a candidate.
Where an individual has a right to deletion under applicable law, we will assess whether additional information must be deleted and whether any legal exceptions permit retention of particular records. We will process such requests in accordance with applicable law rather than treating the standard removal process as automatically satisfying every deletion request.

BlackRock Resources will respond to privacy requests as required by applicable law. Where applicable law provides an individual with rights beyond the practices described above, we will process the request in accordance with the requirements of that law.
13 State Privacy Rights
Privacy rights vary depending upon an individual’s state of residence, the nature of the information involved, and whether a particular privacy law applies to BlackRock Resources or to the information at issue.
Residents of certain states may have additional rights concerning their personal information under applicable state law. Depending upon the law and circumstances, those rights may include rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information and to receive information concerning certain uses or disclosures of personal information.
Some state privacy laws contain exemptions or different rules for information collected in an employment, applicant, recruiting, or business context.
BlackRock Resources will process requests for rights provided by applicable law in accordance with the requirements and limitations of that law.
A person may submit a request using the contact information in the Your Privacy Choices and Requests section above.
BlackRock Resources will not unlawfully discriminate against an individual for exercising an applicable privacy right.
14 Children
BlackRock Resources provides staffing and recruiting services for individuals seeking employment and contract opportunities in the United States. Our website and recruiting services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.
If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected through our website, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
15 Third Party Websites and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including job boards, social media platforms, prospective employers, and other external resources.
BlackRock Resources does not control the privacy practices of independent third parties. Information provided directly to another organization is subject to that organization’s privacy practices and policies.
16 Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices, technology, services, or applicable legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date displayed at the top of this Privacy Policy. Material changes may be communicated through additional means when appropriate or required by applicable law.
We encourage individuals to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
